Sweet Treats for Fall.

I miss autumn in New York. I fell in love in autumn in New York. And although I’m a Florida girl through and through, I’ll never stop pining for the brisk chill that allows me to wear slouchy sweaters and skinny jeans tucked into my favorite boots, the gorgeous golden colors of the trees in Central Park, and the long walks around the Upper West Side, with a warm cafe au lait in one hand and Connor’s hand in the other.

I even miss law school.

But alas, I’m forced to endure tropical weather year-round, live in a Key West-style neighborhood only five minutes from Fort Lauderdale Beach, wear chancletas in January, take advantage of the amazing selection of fresh seafood everywhere, and all the other things that make living in Florida truly awesome.

But I still miss the fall, and especially fall food. And obviously, everyone in the blogosphere is posting fall-inspired recipes right now, so today I’m sharing a few of my recent finds, limited to those meant to satisfy one’s sweet tooth.
